FORMAT:
2-day, single elimination Match Play Championship. Players will be seeded upon previous years Players of the Year’s point list & player reputation.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR STATUS:
This is a Major Point Event for PGA Player of the Year, Senior PGA Player of the Year, and Apprentice PGA Player of the Year. Competitors apply points that they earn to their respective Player of the Year category. Example: If an Apprentice earns second place in the event, he/she will apply points won to the Apprentice Player of the Year standings.
PROFESSIONAL ELIGIBILITY:
Professionals must be in an active classification and in good standing with the PGA of America.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:59 P.M.
STARTING TIMES:
Round 1 & 2 matches begin Monday @ 8:00AM
Round 2 & 3 matches begin Monday @ 12:00PM
Round 3 & 4 matches begin Monday @ 4:00PM
Round 4 matches begin Tuesday @ 8:00AM
Round 5 matches begin Tuesday @ 12:00PM
Round 6 matches begin Tuesday @ 4:00PM
EXTRA CHARGES:
Extra charges for this event are $20 per player and include golf, cart & practice balls for the entire event. Extra charges are included in entry fees.
